Like the marae, Tū Atu is when manuhiri and hau kainga share kai (food). This action takes manuhiri from the state of sacredness to ordinary and is an expression of the hospitality and generosity of the hau kainga.
At this point in te pā whenua, landowners are now ready to take their next step. That may be submitting another type of application or getting in contact with other agencies or organisations who can assist you with the next chapter of your journey.
Once you have had a discussion with your whānau about your aspirations for your whenua and you have come up with a plan, our Pae Manawa are here to support you with your next steps. They will complete an initial assessment of your needs and help you to a develop a plan.
