Users may experience issues when attempting to complete the CAPTCHA image. Verification is unsuccessful because the CAPTCHA image is not fully displayed and therefore is inputted incorrectly.

If you are experiencing this issue, it is likely that the cause of this is the sizing of your screen. If you are navigating our website with a browser and encounter this issue, please make sure that the browser window is:

• in full screen (maximised),
• zoomed out so the entire CAPTCHA image is displayed.

We appreciate this limitation on sizing is an inconvenience, but this guidance should allow a successful verification of the CAPTCHA image.

Users are unable to log in to Pātaka Whenua as they aren't sure what their username is upon completing registration.

There are two things to note:

• the initial username assigned to you will be your email address that was entered when registering, but without the domain name i.e., if your email is "māorilandcourt123@justice.govt.nz", then your username will be "māorilandcourt123",
• you will be sent an email with your username once you have completed registration - please check your inbox and/or your junk mail, if needed.

When using Pātaka Whenua, you may receive a "RedShield" error. We are working to resolve this.

Please close and/or refresh your browser in the meantime as this should clear the error.

If you are having difficulty viewing Pātaka Whenua from your device, make sure that the browser is fully maximised, otherwise it can be difficult to see the search function.

You should see the below if the browser is fully maximised.
